One at a Time Tee

Description

Nobody wins a stack in one hand. It is built the way the print shows it: a hand setting one chip on top of a column that took all evening, while the columns beside it wait. The losing happens faster, which is the part the picture leaves out.

Printed as a halftone, the coarse dot pattern of a newspaper photograph blown up until you can count the dots. It reads as a picture from across the room and as ink up close.

Printed on a garment-dyed blank. The dye goes in after the shirt is sewn, so the colour sits a little uneven along the seams and softens with washing instead of going patchy at the shoulders.

Two colours. Black is a true black. True Navy is a deep blue that goes almost black indoors and shows its blue in daylight.
