This page describes what 89suited.com actually does with your data. It was written by looking at what the site loads, not by copying a template. Where a service is named below, it is because we measured it running.
Who is responsible
Didier Rieder, sole trader, Chemin de Panlièvre 16, 1266 Duillier, Switzerland. Contact: hello@89suited.com, +41 79 771 35 18. One person reads that inbox.
What we collect, and why
| Data | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name, delivery and billing address, email | To make and ship your order | Performance of the contract |
| Order contents and history | To fulfil, support and account for the sale | Contract, then legal obligation |
| Payment details | Handled by Stripe. We never receive your card number. | Contract |
| Email address, if you subscribe | To send you occasional letters about new pieces | Consent, withdrawable at any time |
| IP address and browser data | Security, fraud prevention, spam filtering | Legitimate interest |
We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not build a profile of you.
Who else processes it
- Printful — receives your name and delivery address in order to print and ship your parcel. It cannot fulfil an order without them.
- Stripe — processes the payment. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us. Stripe also runs its own fraud checks.
- Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay — offered as express checkout options. If you use one, that provider handles the transaction under its own terms.
- hCaptcha — protects the checkout against automated abuse.
- Google Analytics — measures traffic. Receives your IP address (truncated), the pages you view and basic device information.
- Infomaniak — hosts the site, in Switzerland.
- Wordfence — security filtering, which processes IP addresses.
Some of these are based in the United States, so your order data is transferred there. That is unavoidable for a shop that prints in the United States, and we would rather say so than bury it.
Cookies, honestly
Most shops list cookies they no longer use and omit the ones that matter. Here is what is actually set.
| Cookie | Set by | What for | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| woocommerce_cart_hash, wp_woocommerce_session | This site | Remembering your basket | Session to 2 days |
| sbjs_* | This site | Recording how you arrived, so we know which link brought an order | Session |
| __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Stripe | Fraud prevention on the payment form | Up to 1 year |
| session-id, session-token | Amazon Pay | Express checkout button. Set only at the basket and checkout, never while you browse. | 1 year |
| __cf_bm | hCaptcha | Distinguishing humans from bots | 30 minutes |
| _ga, _ga_LHRTPKDK18 | Google Analytics | Counting visits and recognising a returning browser | 399 days |
Since 26 August 2026 we use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit and which pages they read. We said on this page that if that changed, the page would change first. It has.
What that means in practice: two cookies, _ga and _ga_LHRTPKDK18, each lasting 399 days, which let Google recognise a returning browser. The data goes to Google in the United States. We have not enabled Google’s data-sharing settings, so your visit is not used to improve Google’s own products or to sell us advertising.
There is still no advertising pixel, no Meta pixel and no retargeting on this site, and we do not plan to add any.
How long we keep it
- Orders and invoices: ten years, because Swiss accounting law requires it.
- Support emails: two years, then deleted.
- Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe, and no longer.
- Analytics data: fourteen months, then Google deletes it automatically.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to a use of it. Write to hello@89suited.com. We will answer within thirty days, and we will not ask you why.
Deletion has one limit: we cannot erase an invoice we are legally required to keep. Everything else, we can.
If you are in Switzerland you may complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. If you are in the European Union, to your national supervisory authority.
Children
This shop is not intended for anyone under sixteen, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If what we do with your data changes, this page is updated before the change takes effect, not after.
